In many ways, TouchCast is a camera built by and for the internet. You can record plain video without an internet connection, but you'll need a good connection for vApps and uploading.
If you're experiencing network connection issues with your wifi, ISP or school system there could be a number of reasons.
If you're in a school, there's a chance you have a firewall or proxy system in place preventing access to certain social websites... and this could be interfering with TouchCast to operate normally.
We've learned that many schools share TouchCast accounts between students -- which is a bad idea because TouchCast won't work if two devices are logged into the same account. If you're getting kicked out of the app, this is likely the issue.
