Video Import Theme

Video Import allows you to import an external video as "video canvas" rather than recording your own video in TouchCast.

1. Tap "New TouchCast"

3. Choose the source of your video import from the options at the top.

4. "Camera roll" allows you to bring in videos from your iPad camera roll

5. "URL" allows you to bring in a video from a URL. Enter the link in the gray box.

6. "TouchCasts" allows you to import a TouchCast local on the iPad that does NOT already have a vApp. Tap the TouchCast to import.

7. Cloud services allows you do bring in a .mp4 video file from Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, Daily Motion or YouTube.

If you choose Box, Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive you will have to log into your account within TouchCast. Follow the prompts. After you log into your Cloud Service account you'll see all the files that you can bring into TouchCast. You can unlink and switch your cloud service accounts in your TouchCast channel profile settings.

8. In this case YouTube has been selected. Enter your YouTube search term and options will appear. Tap the video to import.

9. You can preview the YouTube video.

10. The video will load. This may take some time depending on the size of the video file.

11. Your imported video will now appear in the TouchCast Studio. You can now record your TouchCast to add vApps, titles, whiteboard, etc.
